Such a beautiful hotel. Spotless, comfortable with very helpful staff. Gwen on reception was particularly lovely and really made me feel welcome as a lone traveller, giving me tips and guiding me through all the amenities to enjoy during my stay. A great-sized room and attached bathroom. Wonderful spa facilities with good sized pool, jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms. I had a delicious meal in the restaurant too.

Stayed here over valentines weekend and had a great stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff were accomodating when we asked for firmer pillows. Wifi speed in the room (and around the hotel) was excellent. Only downside was the TV was standard freeview, and we couldnt get the screen cast to work without buffering. The breakfast was adequate (not amazing - but solid). But we did have the £30 3-course valentines special evening meal which was well worth the money. Also just wanted to highlight the bar and waiting staff who went out their way to accomodate serving us in the non-restaraunt area so we could watch the rugby whilst having our meal. The leisure complex was feeling a little tired and could do with a spruce up - but perfectly serviceable. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and found it great value for what we paid for the couple of nights.

Great hotel with excellent gym and spa. Rooms are comfy and large but getting a bit dated. The location is great for travelling to and from larger locations. Food is better than I expected and we were well looked after by the restaurant staff. At breakfast there is a great selection of foods and Bernadette made sure we were happy and well fed. Great service and great staff throughout. Will definitely use again. Thank you for looking after us.

Very lovely hotel, beautiful rooms and kind reception staff. Was able to pick my own room, and given a free cookie on arrival which was a unique and appreciated touch! Sharon in the restaurant could not have been any kinder, lovely service and very efficient with regards to drinks. Pool was lovely and very clean. Very good experience all round and will be back ASAP.

I was gifted a voucher for lunch and two half hour treatments here. Lunch was a choice of starter and mains but you could purchase a dessert, side orders or drinks on top of this if you wished. I had the pate and fish and chips. Both were delicious. Menu was a bit limited for the deal. Lucy my server was lovely and all staff were attentive- good service. I then went through to the Living Well spa to have a back massage then an express facial. Georgia looked after me and was friendly and professional. Pool looked very busy.

The hotel is beautiful, but the main reason I would return is the staff. Every single member of the team did a fantastic job and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. I would especially like to mention Kate, who treats every guest with genuine care and warmth. She truly goes above and beyond. The hotel is very fortunate to have her.

Myself and 3 friends went to doubletree hilton in strathclyde for a spa day we had vouchers for 2 treatments and the use of the spa/pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms. The pool and spa were a lovely temperature. The pool is a great size to have a good swim. There isn't really anything posh about it. But it's what I want in a pool. The spa area for treatments on the other hand is a bit of luxury, bowls of fruit and a fresh cold water fountain is just fine. The treatments were so lovely. I had a back neck and shoulders and a hand treatment which was fabulous. We then went to the restaurant for a 2 course lunch which was lovely we then paid for a pudding we had later on in the day. I want to put a huge shout out there for Annemarie she was so attentive and lovely and nothing was to much bother for her. I wish there was an Annemarie at every resturant and hotel I frequent in the future. And I will definitely be back to visit again soon. Thankyou for making our day special.

I recently stayed here on my own for work and had a very comfortable and hassle-free experience from start to finish. The hotel is clean, quiet and well maintained, which is exactly what you need after a long working day. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Check-in was smooth and professional, and the warm cookie on arrival is always a welcome touch. The highlight of my stay was definitely breakfast. There was a great selection each morning, everything was fresh and well presented, and the service was first class. A very special mention goes to Bernadotte, who was exceptional. Friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming, she made the mornings start on a positive note. She was attentive without being intrusive and clearly takes pride in her work – a real credit to the hotel. The rest of the breakfast team were also fantastic, efficient and always pleasant. For a work stay, you couldn’t really ask for more. I’ll definitely be staying again when I’m in the area.
